Faculties
Our academic programs emphasize critical thinking, spiritual formation, and practical ministry skills. By facilitating collaborative research projects, faculty exchanges, and academic conferences, APTU fosters an environment where scholars and students can grow, innovate, and engage in meaningful theological dialogue. Together, we strive to raise the quality and impact of theological education across the region. At APTU, academics are at the heart of our mission. We support seminaries and colleges in designing programs that reflect both biblical depth and cultural relevance. Through academic consultations, and shared learning platforms, we help institutions deliver rigorous, credible, and transformative theological training that equips students for ministry in diverse communities.
APTU will actively promote the appointment and selection of two teams of faculty: a national team and an inter-regional team. The inter-regional team will be available to assist any national or regional doctoral centers in conducting colloquiums, courses, and examinations. APTU will prioritize involving inter-regional faculty extensively in the operation of the doctoral program. The Senate will assess academic qualifications and recommend qualified scholars to serve as doctoral faculty.
Initially, doctoral faculty members will be appointed as adjunct professors at both national/regional and inter-regional levels.
